The Mac Mini ISN'T dead!!!
Despite the rumor that was flowing around in May, with the announcement of the new iMacs and iWork, Apple decided to finally update it’s Mac Mini computers to Core 2 Duo processors at last!
Inside its petite 2-inch-tall, 6.5-inch-square anodized aluminum enclosure, Mac mini houses the fast Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an 80GB or 120GB hard drive, a slot-loading Combo drive or SuperDrive, as well as built-in wireless — all whisper-quiet.
They also come with 1GB of RAM by default, which I’ve heard is really the recommended amount of RAM in order to run Mac OS X Tiger properly. The Mac Mini is one of those great gadgets I’ve never had the chance to purchase. Hopefully that will change soon, but first I’ll need to grab myself one of those new shinny iMacs.
