You have to see this. I’m not even kidding.
This is footage of in-game play from Tron: Evolution, which was first shown off to attendees at PAX a few weeks back. I honestly forgot it was in my inbox until I just stumbled across it — and was floored by what I saw. I may be a bit late on this one, we love all things Tron with unashamed fanboy glee, so I just had to show it to you.
Tron: Evolution is described as a third-person title that bridges the decades-long gap between the original Tron movie and the upcoming film Tron: Legacy.
I am SO buying this!
Typically, I would say any movie licensed game is going to be horrific. And such is the norm aside from the very rare and occasional gem…which this just may be. I noticed that Pixar licensed games have been decent…and Disney appears to be at least willing to embark on ensuring their licensed games are better then…awful. And that trailer wasn’t half bad. I dare say this one may actually be rather good. Time will tell.
