Thumbs and Ammo: Action Icons Say No to Guns

“Real tough guys don’t need guns, they just need a positive, can-do attitude.”

That’s the core concept of this cool blog that has been garnering quite some attention in recent days. Titled “Thumbs and Ammo”, the blog showcases the action heroes we have grown up with (or not, depending on your age) – minus the guns.

Now guns and weapons have been in the spotlight for quite some time, and not in a good way. The topic is one of those controversial things that may get good friends arguing like there were no tomorrow, but let’s not go there and take humorous route instead.

“Thumbs and Ammo” will certainly put a grin on your face, even if you are an ardent believer in guns. How can you not think that two thumbs up from Chuck Norris is way more badass than him having two weapons in his hands? Then again, we know that those fists are the ultimate weapons on their own…

So instead of bringing the wrath of hell upon unsuspecting citizens, these action heroes can actually do something constructive without guns! Well, we can all dream of that happening one day, but in the meantime, Hollywood needs to make its money, so I suspect we’ll still be seeing our fair share of heavy artillery in the foreseeable future.
