Tim Schafer's Having a Lot of Fun With Our Money

We, the adventure gamers of the world, have handed Tim Schafer $2.8 million (and counting). After seeing what he’s doing with all that cash, you may wonder if giving this man your money was a wise move.

Venture Beat posted these photos (and eight more) of Schafer enjoying his millions with glorious abandon, no concern for his pledge (via Kickstarter) to build us an awesome adventure game in exchange for our hard-earned moolah.

Okay, not really. It’s all in good fun. In addition to being one of the world’s best adventure game makers, Schafer is also known for his witty sense of humor. He provided this tongue-in-cheek photo collection as “inspiration” for Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski, after Bleszinski recently accepted an appointment as host of this year’s Game Developers Choice Awards.

Jokes aside, if you’re interested in supporting Double Fine’s new adventure game on Kickstarter, the campaign still has a little over twenty-four hours to go. Pledging $15 or more will secure you a copy of the game when it’s done.
