Warner Bros goes to UAE to create movies and games

September 26, 2007 by Tiago Leave a Comment

We all know that there is plenty of money in the United Arab Emirates, so there is no surprise when Warner Bros reaches an agreement with some of their companies to create a film + video game production firm in their area.

Warner Bros

The amount of money spent on the project? According to Ronal barrot, CEO of Aldar (one of the media companies on the project) this is a multi-billion dollar transaction, so obviously you can expect a 5-star final result in the near future.

The games and videos will be released in English and Arabic to please everyone, and as if helping in the creation of that kind of content isn’t enough for Warner Bros, they are also going to help in the construction of a theme park and a hotel.

Conclusion: In 2 or 3 years you’ll see some good movies and games being made in the United Arab Emirates. Maybe you will also see a bad-designed hotel.
