Wilcom and Sharp announce the Advance ES smartphone
Wilcome and Sharp have recently announced in the land of the rising sun, a very nice Windows Mobile smartphone called the Advance ES, with a very slick and classic design, yet at the same time, very modern. The screen has a VGA resolution (640×480 pixels), 1.3 Megapixel camera, a QWERTY keyboard, and a wheelpad (that supposedly should work the same way that the iPod’s click-wheel does). The phone, unfortunately, doesn’t support GSM networks, so that means that it will never make it to the European shores.
It’s no iPhone, but then again it’s not trying to be one. And I honestly think that it looks quite nice for what it is and what it does. I wouldn’t mind owning one.
